05. The wrapped castle
Aware of the rough appearance of the scaffolding placed along the castle's facades, the Province quickly considered the possibility of using the surface of the scaffolding to present the work being carried out.
From a faithful reproduction of the facade to “Christo” wrapping, many ideas were considered and a technical representation of the facades was ultimately selected.
This type of technical thinking, often ignored by all, is essential for a reliable and comprehensive restoration. It allows the architects to obtain a preciser working basis on which to focus their proposals and gives artisans a flawless graphic representation to identify the elements to be replaced or the structures to be changed.
